ABOUT TALES OF CAPE FEAR

In 2019, Angela and Evan moved to beautiful Wilmington, NC, where they immediately discovered Memory Lane Comics--owned and operated by Jake and Ben Motsinger. The shop and the staff warmed the hearts of the cold New England nerds almost instantaneously. Memory Lane Comics became the first place where Angela was able to participate in a Free Comic Book Day in this new town, and she found herself enamored by the wonderful artists and writers she met. Truly, Wilmington had an incredible art community, and it was made even more special by the number of talented comic artists present. But could there be even more wonder to uncover?
 

Through the rest of the year and much pestering about her professional experience, Angela somehow convinced Jake to work with her on a project he had been kicking around for a comic anthology. It was a great idea, and not too far from one Angela had been thinking about herself! This was the time to combine forces! Eventually, Angela, Evan, and Jake managed to sit down in a room together, and Tales of Cape Fear was born.
